Kawa of Care - Chromepets

Today we were comparing caring for a pet with caring for our Chromebook.
We thought that we feed our pet food so we feed our device power by plugging it in.
Some of us thought that we carry our pet gently so we carry our device with two hands in a hug hold.
Some of us thought that our pet is entertaining to be with and we use our device to learn with.

We were using drawing tools in Google Slides to create our Chromepet.
We used an image of a Chromebook as the face.
Lots of us added shapes to create the rest of our Chromepet.
We inserted an image by searching for "fur" then masked the image to make the body of our pet.
Here is some of our work from today. We haven't quite finished our creations.
Next week we will be posting these on our own blogs.
